Cationic Polyacrylamide |
|
Cation Polyacrylamide is a linear high molecular polymer which is co-polymerized by acrylamide and cationic monomer. Its functions include decolorization, adsorption, turbidity removal and adhesion. It mainly used for the flocculation precipitation of suspensoid in suspension especially suits for the dehydration of acid sludge (PH<7).
Main Applications Sludge dehydration The products are all electropositive in acidic and basic media, so it is extremely effective to clarify and flocculate suspended particulates which are electronegative in sewage. Paper making auxiliary In paper industry, it can make static bridge role with inorganic polymer in directly to increase paper strength, reduce fiber or packing loss, speed filter water for retention, and filter increased. In deinking process has obvious flocculation effect.. Water treatmen floccilant (river water ) Less amount of cation polyacrylamides are used, the effect is fine and it is cheap. It has better effect if cooperated with inorganic flocculating agent.
TOPFLOC Specifications
Flocculability: PAM can make spended substance has the flocculation function by charge neutrality and bridge adsorption.
Adhesiveness: Through machinery, physical and chemical methods, it can be adhesive.
Reducing resistance:PAM can reduce the frictional resistance of fluids effectively. If add traceamount of PAM in water, 50%-80% frictional resistance can be diminished.
Thickening: PAM can be thickened in the neutral and acidic conditions. When the pH value is above 10,PAM is easy hydrolysis and half-mesh structure, its thickening property is more obvious.
